Bella Flora art supply list

It is not my intention to purchase all the supplies - you may have a lot of these already, and I suggest you use your favorite supplies on hand. And, always stay true to the colors that you love. All my lessons can easily be done in a color palette of your choosing. Also, some supplies are more expensive than others - there are different brands and many substitutes for the same thing. You can do any of my classes with basic painting supplies!

Good news: For any King Art Supplies purchased on their website, you use my code: ANDREAGARVEY10 for an additional 10% off. Includes sale items too, just not a few highly discounted items.

Canvas: 16x20 size

The sides aren't as deep as I like, but it's a very affordable price as it was in a 6-pack! I used the KingArt brand, already primed and ready to go. King Art 6 pack

Acrylic Paint
Note: I will mostly use Nova Color Paint (my favorite), but Liquitex Soft Body is a great alternative. I love the consistency of soft body paint like these brands. If you are new to painting, there are many great options in student-grade acrylic paints as well, like Amsterdam Standard Series or Liquitex Basics.

Nova Paints I am using in class:
Carbazole Dioxazine Violet, Fluorescent Magenta, Hot Pink, Portrait Tone (renamed Peach tone!), Yellow Green, Pyrrole Red, Quinacridone Magenta, White Titanium (any white brand is fine), Cadmium Yellow Medium (hardly any used)

Other paint brands I am using only so you can see the different varieties: Golden: Titan Buff (for skin tone) Sennelier Abstract: Azur Blue (dress/background) M. Graham & Co.: Turquoise (great for shading)

Acrylic Inks/High Flow
Note: Acrylic Inks or High flow fluid paint: I use all the fluid paints the same way, either straight from the bottle or tube and/or to mix with other colors. I only use a few drops, and any brand is fine! So no need to buy any new colors if you already have some inks.  All you really need is a green, blue, and magenta in either the inks or the high flow.

Inks:

Daler Rowney TurquoiseDaler Rowney Light GreenDaler Rowney Magenta

OR High Flow Acrylics:
Golden High Flow White Titanium
Golden High Flow Quinacridone Nickel Azo (added for some honey color in skin)
Golden High Flow Quinacridone Magenta
Golden High Flow Phthalo Blue (green shade)
Golden High Flow Phthalo Green (blue shade)

(I also demoed some KingArt pouring acrylic in blue, green, and purple - it's the same consistency as the homemade recipe).

Brushes:
I am using KingArt Original Gold Brushes. Any brand will do, just try and have some round, flat, and angle shader options.
