Suggested Art Supply List, Extras + Options!

Please know that it is not my intention for you to purchase all the supplies! You may have a lot of these already,

and I suggest that you use your favorites supplies on hand. And, always stay true to the colors that you love. All my lessons can easily be done in a color palette of your choosing. I recommend that you watch the videos first to see what supplies you need.

In the art lessons, I will be sharing some of my favorite art supplies that I love to use!

StencilGirl®  Stencils demoed in Lesson:

Bouquet Greenery L796 – Wendy Brightbill

Tall Flowers L847 – Margaret Peot

Soulful Scribbles Dots Dash L605 - Traci Bautista

Boro S705 – Kristen Williams

Travel Note Mini M102 – Rae Missigman

Acrylic Paint
Note: I will mostly use Nova Color Paint (my favorite), but Liquitex Soft Body is a great alternative. I love the consistency of soft body paint like these brands. If you are new to painting, there are many great options in student-grade acrylic paints as well, like Amsterdam Standard Series or Liquitex Basics.

Nova Paints I am using in lesson:

Nova Blue Green

Nova Carbazole Dioxazine Violet

Nova Titanium White

Nova Cerulean Blue

Nova Fluorescent Magenta

Acrylic Inks/High Flow
Note: Acrylic Inks or High flow fluid paint: I use all the fluid paints the same way, either straight from the bottle or tube and/or to mix with other colors. I only use a few drops, and any brand is fine! So no need to buy any new colors if you already have some inks. They are getting really expensive lately, so you can buy just the white and then make your own colors - there is a video in the Art Supply Chapter on how to make your own!

Golden High Flow White Titanium
Golden High Flow Phthalo Blue (green shade)
Golden High Flow Teal
Amsterdam Ink Turquoise Blue

Brushes:
King Art Original Gold Brushes

5/8" Angle Shader

3/8" Angle Shader

½" Flat

Variety of sponge brushes

Stencil brush (set of 3)

Paint pens:
I love Posca Pen Markers Sets!
No need for all these - I am listing 5 different sets as there are different widths.

Primary Colors 1m Set (superfine)
Primary Colors 3m (fine)
Primary Colors 5m (medium)
Pastel Colors 3m
Pastel Colors 5m (my favorite set!)

Misc/Optional
Vellum PaperArt Paper from craft store
Uniball Signo White Pen

Flower collage materials – magazines, catalogs and laser printouts from my garden photos.

Video - How to make your own fluid paint!
