Bright, colorful ornaments for the tree

Last year I painted a few ornaments right before Christmas. I posted a photo and ended up with quite a few requests to sell them! But I only had 4 and when I went to order more ornaments to paint every retailer was sold out. So this year I started early!

There was awhile there that I was painting every night as I think I've created over 40 ornaments during the past few weeks. They became a little addicting once I started adding the paint pens to the final layer.

I painted them in batches of colors - this one mostly pinks, reds and purples and then added the paint pens using mostly white, silver and gold.

This batch was inspired by the sea. Lots of blues and greens. Loved adding tiny dots ... reminded me of fish bubbles!

Painted on 80mm plastic balls with a few layers of acrylic paint and then paint pens! If you are interested in creating your own then check out my DYI tutorial on my YouTube channel.

Happy holidays everyone!
